Liz McNair is odds on to land the BGBF British Breeders Stakes over 500 metres at Nottingham on Monday.

McNair’s entry includes Multiple Category One winner King Turbo, along with Derby semi-finalist King Sheeran and Breeders Plate runner-up King Lennon and they are all at very short odds to win.

King Sheeran will go off around 1-4 in the first heat in which staying type Saving Sonic appears the main threat.

King Turbo will start around 1-2 in heat five, in which Sharpys Pluto and Romeo Rumble should give him most to think about.

Just over a length separated them last time and another fascinating clash awaits.

Down To The Felt, the beaten favourite in last year’s £7,500 final, looks the have local popular veteran Alfies Prince to beat in the third qualifier.

Phil Simmonds’ Rackitup Charlie, who won over the course and distance last time out, and fast trialist Romeo Ruban are the other heat fancies.
