John’s Joint landed Wednesday’s richest race of the day on Wednesday in the Owners’ Bonus Series Final at Peterborough over 435 metres.

Frannie Lenton’s dog, which strangely made his UK debut in the heats of the event, was soon clear in the B7 contest and went on to beat Rambling House by a neck in 26.67sec.

Best time of the night at the Fengate venue was recorded by Frisby Forjohn in the top grade contest.

David Pruhs’ runner led from start to finish to beat Dodgy Darren by two lengths in 26.35sec.
