Paul Hennessy’s Priceless Jet set a new track record for the Towcester 500m course with a 29.11 win in a Star Sports & TRC Events & Leisure English Derby Trialstake on Tuesday night.
An Irish St.Leger semi finalist, the son of Droopys Jet was nine spots inside Sparta Master’s previous best. A winner of six of his 17 Irish races to date, his previous best performance was arguably a 29.43 victory over 550 yards at Shelbourne Park.
