The week’s biggest final came at Cork where Droopys Steel landed the GAIN Cup, though we have opted to give the nomination to a different ‘Droopy’ – the renamed Reset who is of identical age but was a couple of lengths quicker on the same card.
The performance of the week though surely belongs to Ballymac Bolger. Despite being one of the youngest runners currently in training, the 17 month old went fastest in the Juvenile Classic at Tralee.
The other major event in play is of course the Easter Cup at Shelbourne Park where Borna Gin and Good News get the nod as the fastest two heat winners.
