The Irish Juvenile Derby tops the news interest this week with the main event going to Skywalker Barry – a litter brother to recent Brinkleys Poet Young Guns forecast Blackstone Milo and Dettori Day and 29.40 Mullingar winner Knockmant Ban.
Meanwhile Monbeg Zinzan picked up the fastest semi final in the Irish Cesarewitch at Mullingar though Fiftycashback took four spots off his own 400 yard track record. While Runninta Seeya clocked the fastest semi final of the Irish Laurels.
Among the less obvious ‘stand outs’, look out for Corbrack Prince whose 18.97 for the Dundalk 350 was only 20 spots off the fastest time of the year on a track where the fastest 525 of the week was a 28.99.
Look out too for Skylight Blake with the fastest sprint of the year at Waterford.
