On the same night at Shelourne Park, the kennel landed a treble though the star was a puppy flagged up in a recent column on this site, Newinn Taylor. The May ’18 pup clocked the fastest time of the week, 28.23, and is a great advert for his young sire Droopys Buick.
Then on Sunday night, the appropriately based Golden kennel were on the mark again as Rathcoole Fox landed the Munster Juvenile at Clonmel.
The weekend’s other major final, the Fair Warrior Sprint at Mullingar, saw the veteran Rosbirr Ranger successfully defend his title.
