Ladbrokes and Corals are both tweaking their race programmes following the awarding of new BAGS fixtures.

Coral are expected to offer free admission for their Thursday evening meetings at Hove which will start almost an hour earlier than has previously.

Meanwhile Ladbrokes are expected to extend their new Friday night meetings to 14 races following their earlier start.

Head of Stadia, Richard Brankley said: “We are delighted that the professionalism of the staff and trainers at Crayford has been recognised by BAGS.

“The impact of our newest trainers Mark Fenwick, Katie O’Flaherty ad Dean Childs has gone even better than anticipated and we are very well placed to adapt to the new demands. We are due to hold meetings with trainers very shortly to discuss the implications of the changes. ”

So will there be any prize money increase?

Brankley replied: “Ladbrokes would always be keen to share the rewards of success with those who helped create them.”
