Despite being only an A3 Stake the Lee Stand Stake is very prestigious and there are plenty of quality runners in the wide-open final at Tralee on Saturday.

Pat Buckley’s well-drawn Droopy Hip Hop is given a narrow vote to land the final.

The Westmead Hawk dog clocked 29.96sec in the heats and has ran well to qualify in subsequent races after finding the trouble spots.

Musical Dawn will go off as the favourite after winning three times of her four races in the event so far.

The Shaneboy Lee bitch went quickest in the semi-finals when coming again to beat Knockbrogan King in a fastest 30.03sec. Her best is the 29.90sec from round one.

Pat Leahy’s Happy Endings is the only unbeaten runner in the final and won his semi-final in 30.18sec.

Another to consider is the early paced Knockbrogan King, who made Musical Dawn pull out all the stops last week failing by a length to hang on last week.

1 Droopys Hip Hop 5-2

2 Musical Dawn 9-4

3 Happy Endings 4

4 Knockbrogan King 6
