GBGB licensed Greyhound Trainer, Mrs Pat Simpson has had her licence suspended today as a result of a report of retired greyhounds being kept in unsuitable and unlicensed kennels.
A number of retired greyhounds were inspected by an RSPCA Inspector who confirmed that there were no immediate welfare concerns for the greyhounds present. All of the greyhounds have been moved to suitable kennels.
Mrs Simpson, a trainer attached to Pelaw Grange Greyhound Stadium will now be subject to an investigation into breaches of GBGB rules.
