Trinity Forest completed a fantastic five-timer in the semi-finals of the Bar One Racing Irish Sprint Cup over 400 yards at Dundalk on Friday.

David Kennedy’s runner, a Laurels semi-finalist, flew out of the traps and went clear from the opening turn. He eventually beat Blenheim Cracker by a length in 21.08sec, the fastest time of the round.

English Derby runner-up Tynwald Bish was a shock elimination in the second qualifier.

Peter Cronin’s runner was slowly away while John McGee’s Hillcroft Hero got away to a decent start. The Razldazl Billy dog went clear from the opening turn to score a four length victory over Trewmount Blue in 21.15sec.
