The RGOA Dog of the month for May was Hillview Flyer (Group Skater-Prodigy Diamond, Jul 14). Trained by Ernie Gaskin and owned by Mr D Ball, the black went to traps on five occasions for three wins (hat-trick) and two seconds. It included the heats and final of an A2 Owners Bonus for total prize money of £850.
Bitch of the month was Marbella Lillie (Droopys Scolari-Millstreet Lady, Dec 14). Trained by David Mullins for owners Mr C Winter & Mr J Winter, the dual distance runner picked up three wins, including A1/S1 plus a second and a fifth.
The presentation for dog and bitch of the month for May will take place at the stadium during the RGOA Members Trophy Night meeting on Wednesday 28th June.
