The Romford Greyhound Associatoin’s Dog of the month for March was Lynton Thunder (Kinloch Brae-Very Precious, Sep 14) trained by Maxine Locke and owned by Tilbury Lads Syndicate.

The black went to traps on six occasions – the grader loves a wide runner! – for four wins and a second. Including an Owners Bonus win, the A1 runner collected £1,015 prize money during the month.

The RGOA Bitch of the month for March was Brookside Alice (Bonamassa Rocks-Blue Glenard, Oct 15). Trained by David Mullins and owned by Mr R Vickers, this amazing youngster was beaten in her first race of the month and then rattled off another three wins, and had an early success in April clocking a brilliant 24.17 in A1. Alice is already within nine spots of her mum’s personal best at Romford, and she went on to finish second in the Rose Bowl at Crayford.
