Hove’s owners association the BGOA will honour five runners at their monthly award ceremony at the end of the month (29th).

Heading the list is Slaheny King (Crash-Farronrory Fay, Aug 14), who recently rattled off a five-timer (A3, A2, A1, A1, A1) for owners Mr J Coleman and D Eland and trainer Paul Garland. The brindle has a best of 29.83 for the 515m.

One behind with four-straight is Mr J Bracken’s and Mr M Philips’ Miomi (Hondo Black-Oran Rossi, Sep 14). Beaten in his first three races for Seamus Cahill, the black then polished off A6-A3 inclusive.

Others in the honours include hat-trick winner Get On Chloe (owned Teresa Cahill, trained Seamus Cahill) and two runners passing the 100 race mark Rustic Charm (owned by Mr and Mrs Rose and trained by Doreen Walsh) and Nowhereman owned by the Coxys Crew and trained by Ken Tester
