English Derby elimination Barefoot Artist set the standard in the semi-finals of the Red Mills & TSC Champion Juvenile over 525 yards at Kilkenny on Friday.
Paul Hennessy’s runner led from the opening turn and went on to beat High St Flash by five and a half lengths in 28.93sec.
Murt Leahy’s Material Man came from last to first in the trouble strewn opening qualifier to score a five and a half length victory over the hot favourite Skilful Legend in 29.29sec.
