Select winner Trickys Dumbo was only the fifth fastest sprinter on the clock at Sheffield’s trial session earlier today.
However, it is worth noting that he clocked a very respectable 16.13, which meant that the quicker quartet must have been a bit special – and they were.
Fastest of the lot was Scurry runner-up Geelo Brezza who beat kennelmate Geelo Barclay by a head in 16.05. An apparently very fresh Airmount Mike (last seen in a D3) would have separated them on the basis of a 16.06 run with Bresmed winner Coolavanny Dylan weighing in with a 16.07.
