DERBY GOES AHEAD

Commenting on the recent ARC statement as to the running of the Derby, GBGB Managing Director Mark Bird said, “GBGB is delighted to learn the news that Nottingham Stadium will continue to host the 2020 Derby. We have all being living in a strange world of late, so it is fantastic to see that the Derby will go ahead after it was unable to be run earlier this year. There were obvious concerns that it would not go ahead, especially behind closed doors, and whilst there will be some tweaking on the number of rounds and prize money, I am in no doubt that the greyhound community will also be thrilled that the premium competition will take place this year.”
