Skate On has been named the GBGB 2017 Best Dam of British Bred. The 2012 William Hill Oaks runner up had an October 2015 litter by Tullymurry Act on the ground in 2017 that collectively amassed 290 points, using the same scoring system as used to determine the winner of the Trainers Championship.

Leading the way was triple Category One Winner King Elvis, who won the 71st Produce Stakes at Swindon, The Breeders Stakes at Nottingham and the Servoca Nursing and Care British Bred Derby at Towcester. He also landed the Category Two Gentleman George Curtis Trafalgar Cup at Monmore.

Litter sister Queen Anna won seven of her 15 races and went through the National Sprint at Nottingham unbeaten. Queen Adele didn’t start racing until September and has won three of her six races.

The litter was bred by the K.S.S. Syndicate and trained by Liz McNair, who also trained Skate On. Considering the litter is relatively lightly raced there could be a lot more to come in 2018.
