Poole’s Golden Crest Final will have an interesting angle, whoever lands the  Saturday’s £4,000 decider.

It could be the ‘new girl’, Killinan Infanta handled by the track’s most recent arrival Frank Gray. Or the ‘old girl’ Ninja Diva, who will be contesting her third Crest Final. Then there are the three Cahill runners, headed by the hugely popular Southfield Jock. . .

The first semi final would feature both Ninja Diva (T3 7-1) and Southfield Jock (T1 2-1f). Crossfield Hugo (T4 7-2) was the other Cahill runner.

Jo Burridge’s winner crossed the line in 26.57 (+10). The distances were a length and a quarter and three quarters of a length.

The second semi final featured fastest heat winner Killinan Infanta (T3 7-4f). He would be joined in the final by Kentish Duke (T1 5-1) and Crossfield Giles (T5 9-4). The winner covered the 450 metres in 26.36 (+10).
