“There should be a reason for every trainer to want to come to Crayford every Tuesday throughout the summer” said Ladbrokes Head of Stadiums, Richard Brankley.

The Kent venue have announced significant prize money increases to the Ladbrokes Guys & Dolls (£7,500 from £5,000), Jay & Kay Coach Tours Kent St.Leger (£7,500 from £2,500), and the Ladbrokes Kent National Hurdle (£5,000 from £1,000).

The fixture list still includes the Ladbrokes Gold Collar (£8,000) plus the Ladbrokes Kent Cesarewitch (£3,000).

Brankley said: “There are other small events being staged at the same time bringing the total open race package to around £50,000.

“We are very grateful to Karl Brazier at J & K Coaches for their extended support of the Kent St.Leger and I am particularly pleased that the Kent National Hurdle will provide more opportunities to encourage open class hurdlers.”

* The four Ladbrokes/Coral tracks have recently announced a new tote deal with Bristol based Sportech.

Brankley said: “It gives us the facility for customers at any of the tracks to view the races at, and bet into the totes of the other three tracks. It could prove particularly popular with the revised open race schedule at Crayford.”
