Graham Holland’s runner has clocked 28.27sec and 28.50 in the stake so far and can quickly assume command to see off the likes of Honour and Glory and Barefoot Agent.

Slippery Fred, who took off last week when scoring a trap to line victory in a fast 28.28, the fastest of the session, can take the other qualifier.

He has most to fear from Wimbledon record holder Fiery Splendour and perfectly drawn Stone Boy King.
