Irish and Scottish Derby finalist Black Farren broke a hock this morning in a trial at Crayford.
Mark Wallis’ runner was being trialled in preparation for the Ladbrokes Gold Collar which gets underway next week. In a reply to a text, Wallis replied “He smashed hock at Crayford this morning in a prep trial. A shocking break but Stefano looks like he’s managed to fix it”
Update: Mark has been back in touch to add “All fixed after 5 hours, now going to drive home”
