The big guns clash in the semi-finals of the GMHD Insurances Juvenile Classic over 525 yards at Tralee tomorrow when Sidarian Vega takes on Farloe Rumble.

The two have been the talking dogs at the track for the past two weeks with Graham Holland’s Sidarian Vega setting the standard each time with 28.41sec and 28.54sec, with Farloe Rumble less than a length behind on the clock.

In the first round Sidarian Vega trapped out to the front while last week he had to come through from behind showing he has more than one string to his bow.

He is fancied to get first run on his main rival and is given a narrow vote to succeed.

Farloe Rumble, who has had to come from off the pace in his two wins, is better drawn here and will be fancied by many.

The second eliminator is wide open and it’s hard to eliminate any of the runners.

Graham Holland’s Hovex Prince has the best of the draw in trap one and won in the opening round in 29.08sec.

Tynwald Rodney overcame trap six last week when winning in 28.80sec and is better drawn this week in two.

In contrast Aguasantas faces an awful draw in six but may have the early pace to clear the field, while Coolavanny Slip has ran well in defeat.

The narrow vote goes to Clondoty Alex, who impressed in the second round in 28.67sec,
