KEVIN HUTTON

Kevin Hutton’s victory in the ECC Puppy Derby at Towcester saw him add a whacking 71 points to his Trainers Championship total and leap into third spot on the table above Paul Young (15).

With top two Mark Wallis and Seamus Cahill only picking up eight points between them, the pack took the opportunity to move closer.

Among them was Patrick Janssens with 27 points and the three ladies: Liz McNair (20), Hayley Keightley (15) and Angela Harrison (10).
