Nottingham have received 130 entries to date for the Star Sports/ARC/LPS Greyhound Derby with track spokesman Nathan Corden “very confident” that they will reach their target figure of 192 when entries close at 10pm this evening.

He said: “We have a few hours to go before tonight’s meeting when we are anticipating there being somewhere between 20-30 entries made. I originally thought we would get around 215, now I am guessing closer to 200.”

Entries forms can be downloaded from the Nottingham website and emailed to [email protected] with the entry fee paid by bank transfer.

For anyone wanting to have an ante post bet on the Derby –  we hope to announce a special ‘moneyback’ deal with sponsors Star Sports within the next 24 hours.

The track are due to hold trial sessions on either side of tomorrow’s lunchtime BAGS fixture
